Meet Irene
I’ve been working in real estate since 2004, focusing on Newton, Brookline, and the greater Boston and Metro West areas. I am a top-producing agent working out of the Hammond Chestnut Hill office, and I truly love what I do!
Prior to real estate, my background was in marketing and sales, where I owned and operated a business in the Back Bay. In 2002, I sold the business and moved into real estate, which turned out to be a perfect transition. I’ve included below an excerpt from a “Boston REALTOR'S® Top 20” feature:
Irene Kerzner’s first successful business venture was the fashion design house “OKW,” which she opened on Boston’s Newbury Street in 1987. Her critically acclaimed work as a designer was exemplified by her hands-on customer service, attention to quality and detail, and excellent sense of customizing the clothing to the person. Her thoughtful and caring relationships with her clients became a touchstone for the business and created a loyal and enthusiastic following.
After selling her business in 2002, turning to real estate was a natural transition for Irene, and today she brings the same sense of style and attention to detail to Hammond Residential. In 2012, I teamed up with Heidi Wells (designer and owner of Silk Purse Design Group) to form “Concierge Home Sales.” We have had quite a successful venture, with many of our listings going under agreement the first weekend, over the asking price, and with multiple offers. Now, every property I list includes professional home staging by Silk Purse Design Group.
We offer the seller a truly comprehensive package of services, taking the seller from market to move (preparing, selling, moving, and transitioning). My goal is to simplify one of life’s most stressful transitions into a manageable, satisfying, and ultimately successful experience.
